Wildlife rehabilitation services will provide interpretive moments for the public in our on-going education of the balance between animals, nature and people; decreasing the need for intervention.
Our indoor and outdoor exhibits will consistently support the classes and programs of Lake Erie Nature & Science Center as well as be quality natural history destinations for our public.
Nature and science education leadership will be secured with a $10 million endowment that with our earned income affords Lake Erie Nature & Science Center 70% self sufficiency. Annual Fundraising completes the sustainable income commensurate to the needs and demands of the budget.
We will be a leader in establishing and effectively developing strategic partnerships that are mutually beneficial relationships supporting the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center mission.
The governing structure will be fully developed and utilized providing responsible leadership that is mutually responsive with the executive director to the needs, overall performance and mission.

Volunteers of all ages will be actively involved in creative interaction that best serves Lake Erie Nature & Science Center’s needs yet promotes enrichment for both the volunteer and the Center.
