Enjoy up close encounters and learn about native wildlife at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center.
Lake Erie Nature & Science Center is home to more than 65 live animals including mammals, raptors, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Our live animal programs help to encourage public awareness of the importance of native animals with whom we share our natural environment. We offer a variety of live animal programs for all ages, from 30-minute encounters to behind-the-scenes experiences.

Giving animals a second chance at life is the primary focus of wildlife rehabilitation. Learn from one of our four Wildlife Rehabilitation Specialists about the reasons animals are brought to us and how we care for them in this program. Then, experience a front-row view as we release a wildlife rehabilitation patient back to their natural habitat.
