Lake Erie Nature & Science Center is the only wildlife rehabilitation facility in Cuyahoga County and provides its services at no charge to the public. As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, the Center relies on donations, grants, and volunteer support in order to care for resident animals and rehabilitation patients, and provide valuable information to the community.

Become a Wild Pal

Wild Pals supports the medical care, food and maintenance for resident animals of Lake Erie Nature & Science Center. Your Wild Pals gift will include a recipient certificate and resident animal information sheet.

To begin the process, simply select an animal below. Wild Pals participation is available in three, six and twelve-month options. Pricing varies depending on the animal.


Wildlife Wishlist

Lake Erie Nature & Science Center treats over 1,400 animals and over 100 different species each year. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of the communities we serve to continue treating ill and injured animals at no charge to the public.

A donation of:
$50 feeds the Bald Eagle for one week
$100 feeds the skunks for one month
$200 feeds a Great Horned Owl for one month
$500 feeds the box turtles for one year
