Executive Director (full-time)
The Executive Director is responsible for the organization’s overall leadership, management, financial sustainability, and operational success, while serving as its principal leader and primary public ambassador. Working collaboratively with the Board, staff, donors, volunteers, and community partners, the Executive Director cultivates the philanthropic support necessary to sustain and grow the organization’s operations and endowment, ensures sound financial stewardship and organizational accountability, and strengthens the Nature Center’s visibility, reputation, and community impact.
Planetarium Specialist (part-time)
The Planetarium Specialist will present and deliver astronomy and science educational programs that involve the planetarium projection system and related technology to children, adults, and families. Training of our planetarium projection system Digistar 7 and our traditional optical-mechanical starball and related technology will be provided. Programs include public shows, field trips, groups, preschool programs, scout programs, seasonal events, and summer camps.
Program Specialist (part-time)
The Program Specialist will deliver mission-based educational programs including field trips, family programs, group programs, scouts, and other school age programs including summer camps. This Program Specialist position is required to handle animal ambassadors. Regular animal training is provided.
