Scouts BSA Programs

Scouts BSA is a year-round program for youth 11-17 years old that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves. Lake Erie Nature & Science Center is proud to offer a variety of nature and science merit badge workshops taught by certified counselors that engage scouts in fun, hands-on learning, and exploration of our natural world.

Registration Information:

  • Register for merit badge workshops using the links below, by calling 440-871-2900 or emailing Full payment is due at the time of registration.
  • Preregistration is required for all merit badge workshops and is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Program registration closes 48 hours before the scheduled workshop.
  • Notification is required at least one week prior to the scheduled workshop to be eligible for a refund. A service fee of 5% will be assessed.

Health Release Forms: A completed health release form must be presented upon arrival to the Center for merit badge workshops. If a health release form is not presented, an adult must stay with the Scout for the entire duration of the program.

Sign-off Appointments: Call 440-871-2900 or email to schedule an appointment to sign off any of the Center’s offered merit badges.
