Our challenge today and tomorrow is to ensure the strong growth and high quality of our programs and physical plant. This can only be achieved through the generous support of our visitors, members and supporters to our general operating fund.
The Kenneth A. Scott wildlife rehabilitation center is only one of two wildlife rehabilitation centers in Northeast Ohio that cares for more than 1000 injured and orphaned wild animals a year. In addition to those animals bought in for care, we receive over 3,5000 wildlife related telephone inquires. The Center also maintains live animals for the sole purpose of education. Donations help us care for the animals in our live collection and rehabilitation program. Your support will also help us to educate the public about protecting wildlife.
Through our classes, children, adults and seniors develop an early appreciation of environmental preservation, wildlife and the natural world in northern Ohio. We offer a variety of programming from school field trips, parent & preschooler classes, scouting programs, overnights to international trips and bird outings. Your contributions will help us to ensure that the programs we provide today will continue for many years to come.
The Schuele planetarium is only one of two planetariums in Northeast Ohio! The planetarium offers a unique experience for visitors of all ages to gain a deeper understanding of the world and universe they live in.
