We have narrowed the field of more than 100 entries in our 2010 t-shirt art contest to 15 wonderful finalists who represent all ages and artistic styles. The winner will receive $100 and the limited edition t-shirt featuring the winning art!
To view the finalists and support your favorite(s), stop in to fill out a paper ballot at the lobby display, vote online from the Kids Corner Nature Art Gallery or click “like” under your favorite(s) in the Art Contest Finalist" Photo Album on Facebook.
The winner will be announced in early April. T-shirts go on sale at our annual Family Fun Fest, Sunday June 6 and will be available at the front desk until they sell out.

Protect your identity and the environment! Bring up to 5 boxes or bags of old financial statements, tax forms, medical records and other outdated papers to the Shredding Network’s mobile truck. For a complete list of what can and can’t be shredded, pick up a flyer at the Center or view and/or print from this pdf link.

Rain Garden How-To
For adults

6 - 7:30 p.m.
Learn how rain gardens capture and allow rain and snowmelt to seep naturally into the ground, supporting native, perennial plants that don’t mind getting “wet feet.” Plant a rain garden and help to recharge the groundwater supply, prevent water pollution, provide habitat for birds and butterflies, and create a great looking landscape feature!
Presenter: Amy Roskilly, Conservation Education Coordinator, Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District.
Fee: $5/person This program requires advance registration.
