2008 Family Fun Fest - Planning Committee
You can still get involved in planning Family Fun Fest for June 1, 2008-- a great family event that raises funds for our non-profit Center. Grab a friend and come to our next planning committee meeting on April 4, at 9:45 a.m. in the Vermilion Room. We’ll have snacks and activities to keep your kids busy at our meetings, so bring them along!

2008 Family Fun Fest - Day of Event Volunteer
We need helpers to take 2 -1/4 hour shifts between Noon and 4 p.m. working the carnival games and activities during our June 1st Fun Fest. We also need help with set up and clean up before and after the event. Great for adults, teens or you and your older child can volunteer to work a game together. Spend part of the afternoon sharing the gift of your time and part of the afternoon enjoying the event with your family!

This could be a monthly activity for a family or individual.

Flyer/Brochure Distribution
Help publicize the great classes and programs at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center by distributing our current program and event flyers to your local recreation center, library or other venue. Visit your favorite place(s) once a month (you're going anyway, right?), take along our flyers and ask them to display our promotional materials.

Designer/Builder for New Donation Boxes & Signs
Looking for a skilled person to design and build donation boxes with a creative twist, like the Owl Box and Tree Trunk Box currently in use at the Center. We need fixed as well as portable designs that can be used off-site. This might make a great Scout or family project.

We also need sturdy, reusable yard signs to promote our annual benefit. These could be made of wood or other material that builds in the flexibility to change the date, etc each year.
