Steve was elected to the Board of Directors in November 2010. Steve serves as Chair of the Marketing Committee. He first became involved with the Center as a parent bringing his children to the various children's educational programs and classes such as Frogs and Polliwogs, Nature Nuts and Log Cabin Explorers and participating in the family programming. He also directs a portion of his United Way contributions directly to the Center.

Steve has worked for 11 years at IBM and is part of the relationship management team for the JP Morgan Chase account; prior to IBM he worked in the financial services sector for six years. Steve earned his B.A. and M.B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College and has also completed several IBM executive training and certification programs.

As a Board Member, Steve has been able to use his analytical, sales-marketing background and understanding of technology in the business world to contribute to the Center. As a parent, businessman and someone who enjoys spending time outdoors he believes strongly in the Center’s educational mission for children and educating the community about the valuable natural resources within our community. With his wife Kristin, a social worker, and their two small sons Steve enjoys the outdoors and his interests include boating, soccer coaching, and fly-fishing.
