Jo has had a long connection with the Center starting with her involvement with the Center’s Women’s Board in 1971. During her time on the Women’s Board, she has served one full term as President, helped fill out the service of a second term when the need arose and has served as Chair of the Craft Committee for many years.
After moving away to San Francisco for a few years, Jo returned to Northeast Ohio in 1982 and immediately renewed her volunteer role on the Women’s Board, and was also elected to the Center’s Board of Directors. Since then, Jo has served on several of the Center’s committees including Development, the annual benefit and the Center’s Legacy Reunion Committees.
Jo is an artist and enjoys using her creative spirit to help with various Center functions. Jo believes strongly in the Center’s mission statement and is just happy to help out in any way that she can.
